Kallarali Hoovagi

Kallarali Hoovagi Kannada is a 2006 Indian Kannada historical period drama romance film directed by T. S. Nagabharana, based on a novel of the same name written by B. L. Venu. Set in 1772, during the reign of Madakari Nayaka, the last ruler of Chitradurga, it features a fictitious love story between a Hindu Lingayat boy and a Muslim girl. The film stars Vijay Raghavendra, Umashankari, Anant Nag, Bharathi, Ambareesh, Avinash.

The film is set in the time of Madakari Nayaka, a palegar of Chitradurga. The story revolves around a young Hindu Lingayat boy who falls in love with a Muslim girl of an enemy kingdom whom he meets at the warruined area.Hamsalekha composed the films background score and music for its soundtrack, also writing its lyrics.
